Who We Are

We are a caring and compassionate, Christ-centered faith community, living out our growing understanding of God’s word and love as we seek to connect with our world and one another.

Worship anchors all that we do, beginning with our blended worship service on Sunday, and continuing throughout the week. Adult Sunday School, Bible and book studies, and small groups offer opportunities to grow in faith. We build relationships as we share in church dinners, Game Night, Movie Night, and LAFF (Lunch and Fun Fellowship). Our faith is lived out in the community as we host a Cub Scout Pack, partner with Family Promise of Brevard and the Advent Food Pantry, and support Daily Bread, Serene Harbor, and other local missions. We reach out to the larger world through other mission programs, especially in partnership with our two sister churches in Cuba. Come join us!

What we believe

At the core of Presbyterian identity is a secure hope in the grace of God in Jesus Christ, a hope that, by the power of the Holy Spirit, empowers us to live lives of gratitude: “In affirming with the earliest Christians that Jesus is Lord, the Church confesses that he is its hope, and that the Church, as Christ’s body, is bound to his authority and thus free to live in the lively, joyous reality of the grace of God.” (Book of Order F-1.0204) This strong emphasis on the grace of God in Jesus Christ is our heritage from the founder of the Reformed tradition, John Calvin.
