Reverend Emily Wasser joined Pineda Presbyterian Church in July 2025 as Pastor. Emily has been a part of the Central Florida Presbytery since 2015 where she currently serves on the Anti-Racism Committee.

Prior to joining Pineda Presbyterian Church, Emily served for 2 1/2 years as an Interim Pastor at St. Luke’s Presbyterian Church in Titusville, Florida; 7 years as an Associate Pastor at Winter Park Presbyterian Church in Florida; as well as the Christian Education Director at First Presbyterian Church in Copperas Cove, Texas.

Emily grew up in Allentown, Pennsylvania. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Bible and Religion with a concentration in Ministerial Studies from Montreat College in 2011 and her Master of Divinity from Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary in 2014.

Emily currently lives in Winter Park, Florida and when she’s not busy at church, she’s likely ringing bells with Magic of Bronze, an Orlando-based community handbell ensemble, or hanging out with her friends at Disney World acquiring more Beauty and the Beast merch (that she probably doesn’t need), to decorate her office.
